Lou Bega’s Mambo #5 was the most party song of 1999. We can’t think of a single song that could be considered more party. Not one. Neither can you.

I’d venture to say How Bizaar, a song from the same era with just a slightly higher level of depth, is pretty party.
Wrong. Both of you. On both counts. THE party song of 1999 would have to be something from LFO, like “Summer Girls”, with a close second going to Juvenile for “Back that Thang Up”.
I agree with the Surly Birds. A ton of girls all across the country got to be really excited when Lou said their name in his song. I was and still am one of them.

If you’re like me, you always rank party songs according to pifemaster.com and according to the world’s most trusted party song rating site….Lou Bega’s Mambo Number Five came in at #42.
If I wasn’t just stealing ideas from pifemaster.com, I would have to say that Brittany’s Baby One More Time might take the cake. Or maybe I just feel that way because I once saw a fat man at MU eat an entire cake while dancing topless to Baby One More Time.
