A little known thing about the UK is that they have this incredible generation gap. The kids hate the adults and the adults are terrified of the kids. I spent three months over there and couldn’t believe it. It was like A Clockwork Orange in some places – people fleeing as hoodies (called because teens would wear hoodies to avoid detection with the CCTV system as they committed crimes) would come near. Time To Give It A Rest

I kind of figured it was something that was specific to my family only. But then one day I got into my buddy’s car and lo and behold his clock was set five minutes fast - on purpose.
